Dr Panagiotis Angeloudis coordinates the undergraduate Transport Systems module, which is taught in the 3rd year of our MEng course in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
The module provide an overview of modern transportation networks, intelligent transport systems and freight distribution operations. The taught material is underpinned by a crash course in network analysis and the latest scientific programming concepts.
Our postgraduate module on Freight Distribution and Supply Chain Management is taught by Dr Panagiotis Angeloudis and Dr Jose Escribano. It is offered as part of the Intercollegiate MSc in Transport, run by the Centre for Transport Studies at Imperial College London.
The module covers network optimisation and its applications on freight distribution operations, inventory management and forecasting, supply chain network resilience and sector-specific logistics concenpts (ie. healthcare, humanitarian etc). This module is also available as “stand-alone” course for professionals, as part of our Deparmental Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
